Established in 1996, Darryl Millar Contracting has been serving the North Island since 2012.
DMC is a residential and commercial contractor, specializing in new constructions, renovations, concrete, framing, building envelope, and project management. A member of the Home Performance Contractor Network, we are currently the North Island’s only eligible contractor to retrofit windows and doors for Clean BC rebates.

Darryl Millar
Growing up on the North Island, Darryl Millar started in the construction industry in 1992. By 1995 he was overseeing construction crews at various job sites throughout BCs lower mainland, as well as on Vancouver Island and the BC interior.
After moving back to the North Island in 2008, he reestablished DMC in 2012, and has been operating as an independent contractor ever since.
Scotti Sam
A Red Seal chef / kitchen manager, Scotti decided to take a new career path in 2020, and in 2021 enrolled in Level 1 Carpentry Harmonized at North Island College. After completing the course, Scotti was hired by a local construction company. In September, 2022, Scotti started his employment with DMC, and has been rapidly promoted as his skill, professionalism, and knowledge has increased. Now the site foreman, Scotti passed his Qualification exam in Replacement Installer Fundamentals in FGIA BC Region Feb 28, 2025.
